Progress Report:

We still need more volunteers to sign up for this important mission...
Operation Whack-a-Squirrel

Please sign up today if you haven't already!!!

If you know any cats that would be willing to join our army, please have them sign up today!

Woodrow: ask Sweetie if she would be willing to head up a Special Ops unit that would be sent wherever needed.

OP Pack: maybe your squirrels just all moved further south ... regardless, thank you for supporting the cause. We will need some pups to monitor the internet... locating squirrel sympathizers and deprogramming them, shutting down squirrel blogs etc. You would be excellent candidates for this. Please let me know if you are interested.

Mango: please don't send me any of your pee.

Lucie chased her first squirrel up a tree on Sunday!

I know my parents hairless wonders Herod & Valentina would be up to the task. Herod is allowed on the back porch... but Vally must be in harness or she would run off. She can scout and tell herry where to go...

Heya Tank,
As COs we can not participate in any combat action, however, we do volunteer to provide humanitarian medical assistance to any individual combatants injured in this operation; friend or foe.

Tank,
I've observed that a 4.5mm ball of steel accelerated to over 600fpm with compressed air and directed at those offensive squirrels is much more effective (and permanent) than me chasing them up a tree (and them laughing)! I do alert my PL when they show up to eat the bird seed....he does the rest. Just doing my part in Raleigh, NC whose motto is "Esse Quam Videri" (To Be Rather Than to Seem).

Sorry, we are way behind with our blog reading. Sure, we would love to help.

Woodrow, Sweetie and MJ have enlisted my help in this cause. I will search and destroy all of those tree rodents within the State of Connecticut. I may not be fast, but I can track 'em down and scare 'em with my terrifying bully bark.

Hi Tankster,

Mom finally got around to signing me up so here I am, reporting for duty.

I am using my keen sense of hearing to listen in on the tree rats conversing in my area. One squirrel in particular seems intent on defeating OWAS. I have heard the other squirrels refer to him as, Your Holy Nuttiness. I think he is their spiritual leader, and he may be mentally unbalanced.

Sign me up! I've been practicing on my stuffie squirrels so I'll be ready. (It's been raining so much that the little buggers have been hiding out lately. And preventing me from honing my skills.)

Tank, Sasha from Michigan reporting for duty! Where do I sign up so I can start barking at those furry little rodents? I will have my Michigan friends, Pugsly, Maverick, and Maya holding up our end. Please send orders ASAP

Dear Tank,
I missed this post, but have been following the activities. We're always on the lookout and I'd like to sign up. Just send me the word - watch out northern California varmints. Ozzie wants to help out too and although I hate to admit it, she's an even better hunter than me. You should see the things she drags in and some of it's humongous. Let us know how we can help out here.

OMD!This is the funniest thing ever! I will so have my 2 dogs, both from Australia, now living in Michigan, join this revolution...they do not have squirrels in Australia, or skunks for that matter so it's been a whole new world for Jedha & Taffy!:o)

Can you take this on the road to Maryland? We have an over-abundance of squirrels and rabbits, and we need help!

Commander Tank, sir! This here is Shiloh Beaglebrat and my little sis Shasta is here too - together we make up Team Beaglebratz. We each have our own Sopwith Camel. We just went by Frankie Furter's place and one of them lousy rodents insulted us. Please sir, sign us up - we are out for BLOOD!

Count me in! I have a wonderful, hidden squirrel depository in the yard. Buried. Ripening. Waiting for consumption. Just don't tell my crazy lady. She doesn't understand my prey desire for squirrels, Evil Ones (a.k.a. CATS, who always escape my cunning hunt! Evil, I say...)-- oh yeah, and Bambi. My specialty.
Luv,
Sugar
