I was getting ready to leave for Texas to help Howie P. Pugpants when the Old Guy got home and offered to take me for a walk. Not wanting to be rude and knowing this would be our last walk for a very long time, I decided to go along with him.
I'm still a little shaky, but this is what happened. We arrived at the elementary school where we sometimes take our evening walk and a pack of THREE huge, ferocious unleashed dogs attacked me!!!!! One of them got a chunk of my ear before the Old Guy could pick me up.
Then the Old Guy yelled at the dogs owner that he should have his dogs on leashes and the other guy was a total JERK and had the nerve to say "well, didn't you see my dogs were here?" He acted like he owned the school!
By then, the Old Guy noticed I was bleeding and he totally FREAKED OUT. We rushed home so my wound could be attended to and on the way he called my assistant and told her to write down some numbers. He had gotten the license plate number from the JERK's car and planned to report him when we got home.

Oh Tank...I am SOOOOO sorry for all your troubles. You should get lots of rest and your Mommy and Daddy should give you LOTS of love tonight.
I hope those BONEHEADS (and that is very nice wording) get reported and there Human gets IN TROUBLE!!
Don't worry, us Texas Dogs are so very nice and we get along with everypuppy! But don't hesitate in letting me know if you need backup!!

Gee Tank, that is just awful! I hope your assistant and the old guy insist that the Sheriff tosses that Bonehead in the pokey! Those bad doggies need to be strung up! Well maybe not, but they need to be punished for attacking you.

Tank I am so sorry to read of your bad evening. They could have at least warned you so you could be on your guard. I feel so bad that you got your ear bit. I think you should get lots of rest and certainly extra treats and pretty much whatever you want. You deserve it. I hope that bad dogs go to jail and the bad man. I am just curious, were there any squirrels near by?

Ohhhh poor Tank, how awful. you poor thing it must of hurt so badly. hope that bad human gets in trouble and he learns to control his dogs. bad dogs but they donts know any better if there never any goods example to follow, lucky the old guy wasnt eaten to.
Tank, That sounds so scary. Their owner sounds like a jerk and a bonehead and not very responsible. We just think dogs should be leashed in public - it's the responsible thing to do.

So sorry it's been a while since I've visited, but I'm horrified by your mugging and still worsely offended by that x$@&%-of-the-dogs'-owner's behavior. So glad that man got his license and I certainly hope they will DO something about it pronto. (Like you would as commander of OWAS.) I am thinking of you as you heal, and hope you are taking it easy. Did you get to the V_E_T? I hope you weren't damanged anywhere else, dear Tank. I'll be checking in as Mom's home for the next couple of days.

Oh, my Dawg - Tank ... thank goodness you are OK. But there was blood - that is horrible what happened to you. There are leash laws and people are legally responsible for their pets actions. We should get the Squirrel Squad after him. We're so good whacking squirrels, we could get that guy.

You are being way too kind in using that word Bonehead. That is so not right. He has no right to have his dogs off leash at all. We run into that a lot along the trail we walk. One owner even had the nerve to say she didn't know my dogs were so non-dog friendly. She said hers goes to the dog park all the time and never has a problem. So she thinks it is OK to run with hers off leash. Mom set her straight and told her if she didn't leash her pup, she would call animal control right then and there. Don't mess with our Mom.

Poor Tank - we are on our way and will kick he butts of these bad doggie - how dare they hurt you - we hate unleashed bad doggies we have one in our neighborhood too - he went after us a couple times but at least we can try and defend ourselves.

These bad guys could kill or permanently disfigure a pup. You don't live in Dodge City do you? Where Marshall Dillion when you need him. Take max and hiloh down to the school OFF their leashes to meet those three tough guys. Maybe they'd get provoked. You wouldn't like Max and Shiloh when they're provoked. You rest and get better. We're sorry you trip to Texas was ruined but Texas will still be there later.
